Educational Requirements:
∎ Degree in food related discipline, food science, nutrition or other related discipline and more than five years of work experience;

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support to preparing nutrition modules for the schools in the project areas.
∎ Adapt appropriate diets, recipes and nutrient-rich dishes, and food combinations for the schools and communities in the project area, and training to promote safe, diverse and sustainable diets for good nutrition;
∎ Provide training to school cooks in the project area to have adequate knowledge to prepare nutritious food. Ensure that nutrition components with emphasis on gender concerns are integrated and addressed.
∎ Assist in nutrition sensitization and advocacy activities.
∎ Also assist in (i) preparing and updating fact sheets, technical briefs, and related policy issues; and (ii) organizing and conducting nutrition-related consultations, meetings, trainings and workshops; and
∎ Perform other related duties as required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Familiar with grass root level local government structures and experience with implementing the Farmers Field School approach with the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA);
∎ Demonstrated innovative thinking and practical execution;
∎ Ability to solve problems, use initiative, and manage work under limited supervision;
∎ Good motivational skill;
∎ Interest to work at the community level and willingness to travel at village/union level;
∎ Honest, physically fit and can provide hard work;
∎ Applicant have a working knowledge of English (written and verbal);
∎ Good speaking and understanding ability in any of Marma, Bawm, Tripura, Chakma and other local languages.
