Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s Degree in any discipline (Flexible for highly experienced candidates) with at least 5 years job experience in development field with monitoring expertise.
Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health & WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 9 institutions and 14 donor funded projects.
∎ DAM Health & WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Monitoring Officer of its Max Foundation Bangladesh supported Project titled “Building Water Sanitation Entrepreneurship Program” covering Patuakhali region. It’s a Patuakhali based position which will act as the key person for business-led monitoring.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To carry out the duties and responsibilities of Monitoring Officer under Improving Access to Health and WASH Services along with Community Awareness;
∎ Share field findings, challenges and areas in need for improvement with line manager on regular basis;
∎ Monitoring Healthy village indicators, declarations, and LE association monthly progress;
∎ Monitor the program activities and responsible for coordination, collection and compilation of data on a regular basis (weekly/monthly/quarterly or as decided by the management;
∎ Make sure scheduled for coverage 12 Union in a month;
∎ Plan and organize the project activity monitoring and documentation to ensure the necessary support for quality implementation of the project;
∎ Develop different kinds of quality documentation, stories considering project progress and positive changes in people’s lives throughout the project implementation;
∎ Produce case studies, best practices, field experiences, newsletter, e-bulletins, and other advocacy materials;
∎ Monitor the proper use of materials, financial and human resources;
∎ Monitor the progress of the project and recommend further measures for ensuring progress;
∎ Increase the capacity of the project staff and facilitators on MFB Monitoring & Evaluation system;
∎ Ensure monitoring reports in a timely to the manager;
∎ Participate in meetings with relevant stakeholders;
∎ Ensure report & findings are communicated effectively through close collaboration with the project team;
∎ Responsible to implement the M&E related Work and preparation of M & E reports.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Priority will be given to the candidates who have experience in sanitation marketing, local entrepreneurship development, entrepreneur association and payment by result (PbR) Project;
∎ Strong attitude to take initiative, work autonomously and achieve results effectively; Flexibility and stress-management;
∎ Willingness to accept frequent field missions. Driving motorbike with valid driving licence;
∎ Excellent computer skills;
∎ Candidates need to be highly motivated and committed to Dhaka Ahsania Mission's vision, mission and long-term development work to significantly improve the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalized candidates must be capable of displaying great learning ability, support and encourage knowledge sharing across project, for the ultimate benefit of all of DAM mission wide initiatives;

∎ Age at most 45 Years (Age may be considered for experienced candidate).
Salary:
∎ Tk. 43640 (Monthly)
