∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)from any reputed medical college in Bangladesh.

∎ Experience in humanitarian, relief and development or relevant industry is an advantage.
∎ Experience and demonstrate knowledge of country labor laws, government regulations and NGO practices regarding HR matters.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide curative primary-level care to patients in a refugee camp setting.
∎ Ensure that clinical protocols for the treatment of common morbidities are adhered to.
∎ Appropriately refer patients to secondary-level care as required.
∎ Seek advice and discuss complex cases with other medical colleagues.
∎ Carefully investigate any unusual health events or suspected serious communicable diseases provided through any source and report according to established protocol.
∎ Assign nursing staff to their respective duty zone.
∎ Ensure all the medical instruments, such as autoclaving in the morning at HF and be sure a logbook in maintained daily, and checking the rest other equipment and accessories are working in place for functioning.
∎ Ensure proper clinical area appearance and sterilization (in concert with the facility nurses and restocking by creating daily weekly and monthly assistant tasks lists).
∎ Support management of all emergency patients and handles patient treatment concerns.
∎ Ensure medical waste is disposed of properly and regularly and strictly address infection prevention and control protocols.
∎ Regularly update clinical area procedures for better patient flow to reduce waiting time, among others and provide emergency patient service where required.
∎ Perform daily data collection regarding epidemiological data and consultations/services provided according to the templates provided.
∎ Support in arranging clinical sessions for updating clinical knowledge regularlyKey Result #3: Performance and team approaches
∎ Giving support that periodic performance appraisals and other management reviews are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
∎ Ensure excellent teamwork and cooperation between the clinical staff and with field team staff through the Field Admin Officers and or the Manager.
∎ Enforce Standards and Professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics.
∎ Ensure proper documentation like the OPD tally sheet, Registration book, and all the necessary patient records in a well-organized manner.
∎ Proper handover to the next duty Doctor or Sr. Medical Officer regarding any notifiable issues especially with IPD patients.
∎ Monitor SRH & ASRH activities through close supervision with midwives including capacity-building training.
∎ Ensure midwives follow the Government of Bangladesh guidelines, JRRP guidance, and other guidance on ethical code of conduct and patient safety.
∎ Organize and coordinate midwives’ day-to-day learning opportunities and activities in the health facilities.
∎ Facilitate midwife self-evaluation to facilitate their personal development and contribute to the development of peers.
∎ Make sure that the ANC, PNC, EPI, delivery, FP, and other areas are regularly monitored and that enough medicine, supply, and quality material and equipment are available.
