Responsibilities & Context:

Reporting to the General Manager (GM), the Media & Public Relations Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the company’s communication and PR strategy. The role includes managing media relations, PR campaigns, influencer partnerships, and corporate communication activities. The specialist must maintain strong professional relationships with major Bangladeshi media outlets and key influencers across TV, print, radio, and digital platforms. This position plays a critical role in strengthening the brand image, managing crisis communication, and supporting the organization’s strategic business objectives.

  • Media & Public Relations.

  • Develop and implement proactive media and PR strategies aligned with corporate goals.

  • Maintain strong relationships with editors, journalists, TV and radio reporters, online portals, and YouTube influencers.

  • Draft and distribute press releases, news articles, op-eds, speeches, and media statements.

  • Organize press conferences, interviews, and corporate events.

  • Monitor media coverage and prepare detailed reports on reach, sentiment, and ROI.

  • Corporate Communications & Branding.

  • Lead all corporate communications, ensuring consistent messaging across print, digital, and internal channels.

  • Create and manage high-quality communication materials: newsletters, brochures, annual reports, speeches, and corporate videos.

  • Track media coverage, analyze sentiment, and prepare reports on PR impact, budget and ROI.

  • Manage PR agencies, consultants, and external partners to maximize visibility.
