Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Install, assemble, and set up mechanical systems and machinery according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
∎ Ensure that equipment is correctly configured and operational following installation.
∎ Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
∎ Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, identifying faulty components, and performing necessary repairs or replacements.
∎ Adjust and fine-tune mechanical systems to enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability.
∎ Adhere to all safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
∎ Work closely with engineers, other technicians, and production teams to support the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems.
∎ Respond promptly to mechanical failures and issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring that production schedules are maintained.
