Education:

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical – B1 / EEE or Electrical or Electronics – B2) from a reputed government institute, such as Dhaka Polytechnic Institute, Bangladesh Sweden Polytechnic Institute, Dhaka Mohila Polytechnic Institute, Rajshahi Polytechnic Institute, Chittagong Polytechnic Institute, Kushtia Polytechnic Institute, Sylhet Polytechnic Institute, Bogra Polytechnic Institute, Mymensingh Polytechnic Institute, or Pabna Polytechnic Institute.” Minimum CGPA: 3.00 out of 4.00 for Diploma.

• Minimum SSC Passed from Science Background with a minimum GPA: 4.00 out of 5.00

• Minimum GPA 4.00 out of 5.00 for HSC (If any)

• Minimum physical fitness with a height requirement of at least 5’5” (168 cm).

• Must reside near the airport during the tenure of employment to ensure timely arrival at the workplace.

• Ability to manage time effectively and work well within a team environment.

• Ability to recognize and distinguish colors accurately.

• Must be reliable, energetic, and responsible.

• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities & Context:

• Replace or repair armrest pads, seat recline cables, push buttons, and locking mechanisms to enhance passenger comfort and safety.

• Adjust or replace overhead bin locks, latches, and meal tray mechanisms to ensure reliable operation during flights.

• Service cabin crew seats by adjusting or replacing springs, harnesses, and buckles for optimal support and safety.

• Replace literature pockets, sidewall window shades, and air‑conditioning louvers to maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable cabin environment.

• Repair or replace galley latches, turn retainers, and waste compartment flapper springs to ensure secure storage and proper waste management.

• Clean or replace galley water filters to maintain the quality of onboard drinking water.

• Repair or replace lavatory shrouds, faucet assemblies, and water timers to maintain hygiene and functionality.

• Conduct overall cabin inspections and perform necessary repairs, adjustments, or replacements to ensure aircraft readiness and passenger safety.

• Ensure quick and efficient resolution of cabin-related issues to prepare a safe flight within a limited turnaround time.
