Must-Haves:

Strong understanding of:

• Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics (0580 / 0606 where applicable)

• Cambridge International AS & A Level Mathematics

• IB Diploma Programme (DP) Mathematics

• Strong command of mathematical concepts, reasoning, and problem-solving techniques

• Ability to deliver inquiry-based and concept-driven mathematics teaching

• Capability to develop students’ analytical thinking and logical reasoning skills

• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills

• Commitment to relocate to Narsingdi and serve at least two years

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience preparing students for Cambridge & IB external examinations

• Strong background in differentiated instruction and advanced assessment techniques

• Proficiency in digital learning tools (MS Office, Google Workspace, virtual simulations, etc.)

• Experience in promoting math clubs, competitions, or enrichment programs

• Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to school-wide academic development

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across Cambridge IGCSE, AS/A Level & IB DP

• Teach both pure and applied mathematics concepts with clarity and depth

• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning

• Prepare students for Cambridge and IB assessments (written and internal/external exams)

• Provide individualized academic support to meet diverse learner needs

• Assess, evaluate, and report student progress in line with curriculum standards

• Use real-world applications to enhance conceptual understanding

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to improve student outcomes

• Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) and curriculum enrichment

• Contribute to mathematics clubs, competitions, and extracurricular activities
