Experience:

• At least 1 years

• JSC / JDC / 8 pass

• Class VIII pass/ equivalent education from registered institution.

• At least 1 years

• At least one year of experience in relevant works.

• Knowledge and experience with working in Hospitals, public health sector, medical emergencies will be advantageous.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure in hardship situations and harmoniously within a team of colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds.

• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

• Carry a stretcher or patient trolly with a non-ambulant patient.

• Assist medico legal case transport and handling of deceased patients carry to mortuary.

• Guide & assist the patient to do the laboratory & imaging investigations

• Support to cleaner in daily cleaning of patient service areas, Wards, Ticket counter, waiting areas, procedure corner, stores, Pharmacy, office room and hospital premises

• Support to cleaner in carrying of hospital waste materials according to guidelines/ instruction.

• Help maintaining a sterile environment of the operation theatre where applicable, which includes floor cleaning, linen and OT clothes washing, drying, ironing and making them ready to use.

• Support in cleaning of stool, urine, blood-mixed clothes and materials, after-delivery waste and other human excreta.

• Help nurses and nurse assistants in sterilizing instruments when required.

• Help nurses in maintaining a good stock of sterilized gauze, dressing pad, dressing materials and surgical instruments.

• Identify any area of probable unhealthy environment and clean proactively.

• Make patient’s attendants and other people aware about cleanliness of the hospital.

• Assist in crowd control and visitors control in the health premises.

• Perform any other duties asked by Supervisors – Medical Officer, Nurse and other relevant persons.

• Ready to work in emergency situations.

• Perform such other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.

• Monthly gross salary for this position is BDT 20,000.00.
