  • Age At least 50 years
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, and Economics or in any discipline from reputed the University with a very good academic background. A degree from any Japanese University will be add extra advantage.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams, set a clear vision and strategic direction for the company and drive organizational change. Decisiveness and the ability to make tough decisions under pressure.

  • Exceptional ability to analyze complex situations, develop long-term strategies, and translate them into actionable plans. Understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels. Empathy and the ability to understand and respond to the needs of others;§  Develop merit-based management team for performance with competitive compensation and performance systems.

  • The candidate must be fluent in listening, speaking, reading and writing in Japanese as well as in English and must have extensive knowledge and experience with Japanese Management Tools like 5S, HO-REN-SO and STPD.

  • Above 50 years of age with minimum of 20 years of cognate relevant experience, at least 5 years of which must be at a top managerial level in a food manufacturing company preferably in FMCG.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Be responsible for managing effective operation of the Company with prescribed availability and reliability factors. Ensure compliance with performance targets set by the Board of Directors, Japan;

  • Lead, prepare strategic business plans and streamline the organizational structure in coordination with Board of Directors and stakeholders;

  • Establish and streamline mechanisms, process and procedures for productivity enhancement, improving business operation and ensuring effective management of the company;

  • Represent the company in negotiations with the Public, key stakeholders, business partners, Government department and other key contracts;

  • Establish and maintain and effective relationship formal and informal with major Customers, relevant Government Agencies, Local Authorities, key decision makers and other stakeholders to ensure the company in providing the appropriate range and quality of services;

  • Develop and present year strategic plan business plan including investment plans, succession plan business continuity plan to the Board. Achieve net operational profit growth targets as set by the Board of Directors;

  • The candidate should be able to maintain continuous communication with Head Office, Japan.
