- Minimum 10 years working experience in a 100% export oriented large textile mills. Well conversant with deem export procedure.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Supervision of export/import functions of the company.
- Lead, monitor, coordinate & supervise day to day activities of export/import team and keeping liaison with marketing team.
- Review export procedures in accordance with new or changing standards.
- Handle all logistics activities related to export /import for a 100% export oriented large textile mills.
- Monitor and deal export-related documents with the respective authorities of Bank and Buyers.
- Check Export LC and sales contract and advise marketing team/buyer for necessary amendments.
- Ensure export documents are submitted/delivered to Buyer and marketing team for getting advance acceptance.
- Strong monitoring with the marketing team as well as with buyer, marketing team and bank for obtaining party acceptance, bank acceptance and payment of matured bills. s.
- Liaison and coordinate all activities of customs, bond, bond audit, bonded ware house, incentive, EPB, BTMA, BIDA(BOI), Bank and Customs House.
- Checking PI of machineries, spare parts, Chemicals, dyes, yarn and cotton.
- Must have very good knowledge in HS Code fixation of machineries, spare parts, Chemicals, dyes and yarn.
- Monitor & manage opening of import L/C related work, including corresponding with procurement team and suppliers.
- The incumbent must have very skill in communication. Monitoring, shipment, Import document retirement formalities and custom clearing, C&F agent and transport related concern authorities for smooth and timely delivery of goods.
- Continuous monitor & track various stages of export as well as payment follow up.
- Resolves customer issues, handles and solves incident. Prepare and submit MIS weekly/monthly as desired by the management.
