Job Context:
∎ This role drives and leads the planning, coordination, and implementation of SAP projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, adhered to defined quality standards and meeting agreed user specifications and expectations. Develop project implementation plans, identify and allocate appropriate resources, conduct risk analysis and monitor the progress of plans against project milestones. Experience in all aspects of project management will be required for this position, which helps to develop written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. SAP project managers also prepare requests for proposals, oversee team workload, and manage project budget.
∎ SAP software includes Production Planning, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, Plant Maintenance, Financial Accounting and Controlling.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ This role manages the delivery of full lifecycle implementation of projects. Conceptual design, detailed design, build/configuration, testing, data design & coach/supervise data preparation by business users, training planning & execution, conversion planning & execution, go-live support. Manage all aspects of Project life cycle to facilitate successful delivery to executive team.
∎ Lead business change projects, covering all aspects of such change (business processes, business data, supporting application/system, organization alignment, enabling IT-Infrastructure requirements).
∎ Supervise up to a team of 25. On projects, typically would lead the entire project or one sizeable functional work stream on large business change projects. Evaluates staff or provides inputs for their development evaluations (matrix organization).
∎ Keep current with best-practice evolution in the respective functional and business process areas (business principles, business processes, and application solutions)
∎ Identify, analyze and recommend business systems solutions to management having broad business impact.
∎ Establish detailed project plans and metrics, work plans, schedules, resource plans and status reports.
∎ Identity project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
∎ Provide project leadership, work direction and feedback.
∎ Motivate work of others outside of direct authority to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
∎ Present formal presentations and executive summaries to senior management to provide recommendations and status updates.
