Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Keep record of all financial transactions of the USAID project by Tally Prime Software.
Keep the all financial data (Bills, vouchers and others documents) in hard copy and digital version.
Prepare financial reports along with audit reports as per company and USAID project requirements.
Bills and supporting documents checking for payment or adjustment.
Prepare, check and validate various bill vouchers, timesheet, travel expenses.
Deduct TDS and VDS/ VAT Coupon from bill/invoice and deposit to Govt. treasury.
Preparing and distributing financial reports to both funders and grantees.
Prepare and send report of monthly expenditure report, BVA report, VAT and TAX Report and fund request as per USAID guideline.
Prepare Internal costing/budgeting of USAID’s projects at proposal stage as well as supporting the Senior Management with creating workflows, and a matrix of responsibilities that are needed to support the initial USAID’s grant making process.
Monitor the expenses according to the approved budget and revising the budget according to program requirements.
Coordinate regular donor monitoring visits and providing responses after the completion of the monitoring visits.
Coordinating and engaging with proposal/grant writers at each stage of the USAID’s proposal/grant as per requirement.
Prepare special statistical report, detailed cost accounting information, survey or analyses of complex and difficult nature of management.
Interprets various accounting data, analyzes reports and recommends and/or initiates actions to be taken.
Prepare monthly Bank reconciliation statement.
Plans, directs, organizes and schedules the activities of one or more specialized accounting functions.
Prepare and manage transparent documentation & timely reporting of all financial activities to senior management/donor and for audit & internal control purposes.
Making sure that the organization is following compliance standards in accordance with organizational policies and government regulations.
Duty Station: Head Office in Dhaka with occasional field visits if required. Certain portion of the LOE will be assigned for Donor funded programs after recruitment.
