Responsibilities & Context: Additional Requirements: Age: Maximum 35 years Experience and Other Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience. Must be proficient in typing in both Bangla and English, and skilled in using MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and internet browsing. Must be hardworking, creative, mentally resilient, and capable of maintaining a strong digital presence. Must be willing to travel to any part of the country. Must be physically fit, energetic, honest, dedicated, and responsible. Key Responsibilities: 1. Audit Planning and Leadership Developing annual and project-based audit plans. Leading the audit team and conducting field-level audits. Managing the entire process from planning to the final audit report. 2. Accounts and Financial Document Verification Examining cash, bank records, vouchers, ledgers, financial statements, etc. Verifying whether expenditures align with approved budgets and NGO policies. Identifying errors, irregularities, excessive spending, or potential fraud. 3. Project/Donor Audit Verifying the proper utilization of funds across various development projects. Checking for compliance with donor financial guidelines and requirements. Preparing or reviewing audit reports for donor-funded projects. 4. Internal Control Assessment Evaluating the effectiveness of the organization`s internal control system. Identifying weaknesses and recommending corrective measures. Examining control mechanisms for procurement, HR, payroll, inventory, and asset management. 5. Field Audit Visiting various branch, area, and project offices. Verifying field-level cash, inventory, assets, beneficiary records, and project activities. Conducting surprise audits when necessary. 6. Reporting and Recommendations Documenting audit findings. Preparing audit reports for management. Providing recommendations regarding the causes of irregularities, associated risks, and necessary actions. Following up on observations from previous audits. 7. Team Management Supervising the work of junior auditors/executives. Allocating tasks to team members and reviewing their reports. Mentoring junior staff to enhance their audit procedures and professional skills. Communication with Management and Stakeholders Coordinating with the Finance, Accounts, Project, and Management teams. Discussing audit findings with Management.
