Responsibilities & Context: Job Description: Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic MIS reports related to sales (primary, secondary, tertiary), inventory, distribution, and collection. Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from ERP / DMS / Sales systems and other sources. Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPI trackers for management review. Support sales, distribution, and finance teams with data-driven insights and exception reports. Monitor stock movement, aging, shortage, and excess inventory; prepare related analytical reports. Track territory-wise, distributor-wise, and product-wise performance and highlight gaps. Assist in target vs achievement analysis and provide inputs for sales planning. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of all MIS reports. Maintain proper data archives and documentation for audit and management reference. Support automation of recurring reports using Excel, Power Query, or available tools. Coordinate with IT / ERP team for data extraction and system-related issues. Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time. Additional Requirements Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail and data accuracy. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, charts, conditional formatting). Working knowledge of Power BI / Google Data Studio or similar visualization tools will be an advantage. Familiarity with ERP / DMS / Sales Force Automation systems used in distribution businesses. Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of business data. Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and improve reporting processes. Experience Requirements Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in MIS, Data Analysis, or Business Reporting. Experience in Mobile Handset, Electronics, FMCG, Distribution, or Trading organizations will be given preference. Hands-on experience in preparing sales, inventory, and distribution MIS reports is highly desirable.
