Experience:
Master’s degree in public administration, International Relations, humanities, social sciences or social work from Public Universities will be given preference.
Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in Government Liaison/Coordination.
Experience of working with License, BIDA work permit, / N.S.I Clearance for foreign employees, Government Agencies or BIDA.
Master’s degree in public administration, humanities, social sciences or social work, law.
Very good skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point.
Strong communication skills in both: Bengali & English.
Cultural and gender sensitivity, adaptability, willingness to travel.
The Manager – Public Relations & External Affairs will serve as a key liaison between Unique Group and various government, regulatory, law enforcement, and public sector stakeholders. The incumbent will work closely with the Managing Director to maintain effective relationships with ministries, government agencies, regulatory authorities, and other external stakeholders to support the Group`s business interests, compliance requirements, strategic initiatives, and reputation management.
Responsibilities
Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with government ministries, departments, regulatory authorities, and public sector organizations.
Government Liaison and Administration responsible for liaison and networking with government and ensuring work is following the regulations of the Government of Bangladesh, related to different ministries, BIDA and Security clearance relevant.
Arrange Police/ N.S.I Clearance for foreign employees and any foreign guests invited by the Managing Director/Company.
Coordinate with relevant authorities regarding approvals, licenses, work permits, renewals, and regulatory compliance matters.
Facilitate communication and correspondence with government agencies on behalf of the Managing Director and the Group.
Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders regarding corporate matters.
Build and maintain relationships with senior government officials, policymakers, and key influencers.
Provide updates and recommendations regarding external affairs matters.
Assist in managing sensitive issues involving external stakeholders.
Maintain records of government correspondence, approvals, permits, and stakeholder communications.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time in line with organizational needs.
