Education:

  • 4-year Honors degree followed by an MBA/Master's degree in HRM from a recognized university.
  • At least 3 (three) First Divisions/Classes/A Grades from SSC to Master's level.
  • Candidates with a PhD/MPhil degree in HRM from a recognized university at home and abroad will be given high preference. or Candidates should have a minimum GPA 4.50 (out of 5.00) at the SSC and HSC levels and a minimum CGPA 3.50 (out of 4.00) at the graduation and postgraduation levels.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with strong research expertise in the field of HRM of Business Administration, particularly in HRM.
  • Candidates with a 3rd Class/Division or GPA/CGPA below 3.00 in any public examination need not apply.

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Delivering lectures, seminars, and workshops on various HRM topics to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Developing and maintaining course materials, syllabi, and assessments.

  • Collaborating with colleagues to design, update, and enhance the HRM curriculum, ensuring alignment with current industry trends and academic standards.

  • Engaging in research activities in the field of HRM, including conducting research projects, publishing research papers in respected journals, and presenting research findings at conferences.

  • Providing academic and career guidance to students, including advising on course selection, helping students set academic and career goals, and mentoring students in their academic pursuits.

  • Continuous learning, attending conferences, workshops, and pursuing advanced degrees if necessary. Building and maintaining connections with local businesses, HR associations, and industry experts to provide students with practical insights, internships, and networking opportunities.

  • Actively participating in departmental and university service activities, such as serving on committees, attending meetings, and contributing to the department`s overall function and development.

  • Ensuring that students adhere to ethical and academic standards as per university policies and procedures.

  • Regularly assessing and evaluating student performance to ensure the quality of education and recommending improvements where necessary.

  • Any other tasks assigned by the authority.
