∎ Subject Areas: English

The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, academic leadership, and service to both the university and the broader academic community.
∎ Teach undergraduate courses that align with the curricular needs of the university, with particular emphasis on foundational education across all areas of English.
∎ Ensure that teaching content is consistently informed by current research.
∎ Collaborate with colleagues in the ongoing review and development of the department’s academic programs.
∎ Work in accordance with university policies and procedures to undertake assessment, projects, etc. of students’ work.
∎ Contribute to research through high-quality publications.
∎ Fulfill specific departmental roles and responsibilities as reasonably required.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by the university authorities.
