Education:
Must hold a 4-year Honors Bachelor`s degree and a Master`s degree in Applied Mathematics or Pure Mathematics from a recognized university.
Preference will be given to applicants with an MSc or MPhil in Mathematics.
Candidates must have three First Divisions/Classes in their academic career with a minimum GPA of 4.50 (out of 5.00) at the SSC and HSC levels, and a minimum CGPA of 3.50 (out of 4.00) at the graduate or postgraduate levels.
Candidates with a 3rd Class/Division or a GPA/CGPA below 3.00 in any public examination need not apply.

Responsibilities & Context:
Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Applied Mathematics or Pure Mathematics courses.
Design and develop course materials aligned with academic standards and learning outcomes.
Implement innovative teaching strategies to engage students and enhance understanding.
Provide academic support and feedback to students through consultations and tutorials.
Contribute to curriculum development and review in the mathematics department.
Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary course design and the integration of real-world applications.
Conduct research in Applied Mathematics or Pure Mathematics, aiming for publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations.
Mentor students in their research projects and guide them in publishing findings.
Offer academic guidance and career planning support to students.
Participate in and support extracurricular activities, including student organizations.
Stay updated with current developments in the field through continuous professional development.
Contribute to departmental meetings, administrative tasks, and university service.
Foster collaborations with other departments or external partners to apply mathematics to real-world problems.
Engage in outreach activities to promote mathematics and STEM education.
Uphold university policies and ensure academic integrity in all areas.
