Educational Requirements:
∎ 4-year Honors degree followed by an MBA/Master's degree in MIS from a recognized university.
∎ At least 3 (three) First Divisions/Classes/A Grades from SSC to the Master's level.
∎ Candidates with a PhD/MPhil degree in MIS from a recognized university at home and abroad will be given high preference.
∎ Preference will be given to candidates with strong research expertise in the field of MIS of Business Administration, particularly in MIS.
∎ Candidates with a 3rd Class/Division or GPA/CGPA below 3.00 in any public examination need not apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Delivering lectures, seminars, and workshops on various MIS topics to undergraduate and postgraduate students. This involves developing course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
∎ Collaborating with colleagues to design, update, and enhance the MIS curriculum to ensure it aligns with current industry trends and academic standards.
∎ Engaging in research activities within the field of MIS, which includes conducting research projects, publishing research papers in reputable journals, and presenting research findings at conferences.
∎ Providing academic and career guidance to students, assisting them in setting academic goals, advising on course selection, and mentoring them in their academic pursuits.
∎ Staying updated with developments in the MIS field through continuous learning, attending conferences, workshops, and pursuing advanced degrees as necessary.
∎ Establishing and maintaining connections with local businesses, IT associations, and industry experts to provide students with practical insights, internship opportunities, and networking connections.
∎ Actively participating in departmental and university service activities, including serving on committees, attending meetings, and contributing to the department's overall functioning and development.
∎ Regularly evaluating and assessing student performance to maintain the quality of education and recommending improvements when needed.
∎ Assist in the administration of the Department, such as student recruitment and retention, budget management, and accreditation-related activities.

∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ The candidate should have a strong command over business-related software skills.
