Education:
∎ BA (Honors) and MA in Bangla from any reputed University.
∎ Must have achieved at least 03× First Class/Div/A Grade (not below 3.50 at under graduate level) in the entire educational qualification.
∎ For candidates who have passed according to the grading system, the total GPA in SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations must not be less than 8.00, with a minimum of 3.50 in both. In the relevant subject, for both the Honours and Master’s degrees (under both old and new grading systems), one must have a minimum CGPA/GPA of 3.50, while the other must have at least 3.25.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Teach undergraduate courses that meet the curricular needs of the university with particular emphasis on fundamental education in all areas of Bangla.
∎ Ensure that teaching content is appropriately informed by current research.
∎ Collaborate with colleagues in the continuous review and development of the Department’s programs.
∎ Work in accordance with University policies and procedures to undertake assessment of students’ work.
∎ To contribute to research through high quality publications.
∎ Carry out specific departmental roles and functions as may reasonably be required.
∎ Any other duties assigned by the University Authority.
∎ Position Location: BAIUST, Cumilla
∎ BAIUST solicits applications for the post of Lecturer- Bangla under the Dept. of Science & Humanities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
∎ Teach undergraduate courses that meet the curricular needs of the university with particular emphasis on fundamental education in all areas of Bangla.
