Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare samples for testing by centrifuging, aliquoting, or processing as required.
Ensure samples are stored and transported properly.
Clean, sterilize, and maintain lab instruments and workstations.
Perform routine checks and calibration of equipment.
Enter patient and test information into the lab’s database accurately.
Maintain detailed and organized records of all samples and results.
Monitor stock levels of lab supplies and reagents.
Report shortages or order items when necessary.
