Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Strategize, design, develop & execute the end-to-end SCM plans that are aligned with the company's business goals.
∎ Ensure material planning for projects and supplies coordinating with the Design and Execution Team ahead of actual demand.
∎ Supervise all commercial activities (e.g. issuance of PI, L/C open, amendment /correction, Export/import proceeds realization, ensure proper HS code for timely clearance from customs through maintaining proper liaison with customs authority, concerned banks, C&F agents, trade bodies, shipping lines).
∎ Develop vendors based on the required compliances, credit period, price and Delivery schedule and negotiate further for warranty support, quality and other specifics.
∎ Coordinate with the Technical team in obtaining the approval & finalize with vendor and release of purchase order.
∎ Maintain proper correspondence with supplier, factory, buyer, C&F and other concerned offices.
∎ Develop an effective and cost-efficient supply chain process.
∎ Initiate and lead cost-saving initiatives.
∎ Communicate with internal departments like Operations, Accounts and logistics to ensure proper coordination.
∎ Build long-term relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
