Job Responsibilities:
∎ Tasks and responsibilities
∎ Assists STA in drafting the workshop reports of the project, with specific reference to project results matrix and indicators;
∎ Implement the M&E plan as per FAO requirements, and provide support in evaluating the compliance of project outputs with the relevant indicators;
∎ Coordinates the preparation of Annual Work Plans;
∎ Ensure the collection of the necessary information to support the evaluation framework;
∎ Monitor and evaluate the progress of activities, assesses the quarterly performance of the project activities in term of Efficiency, Effectiveness and relevance; based on the findings, drafts the Project Implementation Reports, and Quarterly Project Reports and Annual Project reports and submits for STA's approval;
∎ Anticipate and report any issue which may hinder the achievement of the relevant project indicators and discuss and propose solutions;
∎ Regularly prepare and submit the implementation progress report;
∎ Provide support and information to the independent Mid-Term and Terminal Evaluator Expert in the course of the preparation of the Mid Term Review and Terminal Evaluation Report; and
∎ Perform other related duties as required.
∎ Participate and contribute to the FAO Bangladesh MEAL Unit's in-house learning process and peer support mechanism as part of the overall programmatic approach.
∎ Work with the STA in the recruitment of relevant short-term national and international specialists
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least six (06) years of relevant professional experience in supporting the planning/design, monitoring, results measurement, evaluation, accountability, information/knowledge management, action research and reporting in an international development setting, preferably with UN
∎ Working knowledge of English and Bangla
∎ National of Bangladesh
