CCTV Maintaining, Computer repairing, Computer Technician, Electrical/ Electronics
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
IT Enabled Service

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Individual tasks vary depending on the type of technical support you are providing, but in general, you'll need to keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them
∎ Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
∎ Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
∎ Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
∎ Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
∎ Replace parts as required
∎ Provide support including procedural documentation and relevant reports
∎ Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
∎ Support the roll-out of new applications
∎ Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
∎ Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
∎ Work continuously on a task until completion
∎ Priorities and manage many open cases at one time
∎ Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and or users
∎ Review/test and update knowledge/skills with new technology
∎ Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 60 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
∎ Check computer hardware (HDD, Mousses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
∎ Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specification
∎ Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
∎ Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
∎ Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
∎ Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
∎ Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts debugging etc.)
∎ Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
∎ Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
∎ Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
∎ Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
∎ Excellent communication ability
∎ Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
∎ In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
∎ Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
∎ Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage
