Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintenance and Calibration:
∎ Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and testing of instrumentation and control systems (such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, and valves) to ensure accuracy and reliability.
∎ Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
∎ Installation and Commissioning:
∎ Assist in the installation, commissioning, and startup of new instrumentation equipment and systems.
∎ Verify proper functioning and compliance with specifications and standards.
∎
∎ Monitoring and Control:
∎ Monitor and inspect instrumentation readings and parameters to ensure they meet operational requirements.
∎ Adjust control settings and parameters as necessary to maintain optimal performance of equipment and processes.
∎
∎ Troubleshooting and Diagnosis:
∎ Respond to alarms, alerts, and abnormal conditions detected by instrumentation systems.
∎ Diagnose and resolve issues related to instrumentation, communication interfaces, and control loops.
