Minimum 3–5 years of industry experience in welding and fabrication.

Prior teaching or training experience in a vocational or technical setting is preferred.

Certification from BTEB/NSDA/ILO-recognized programs.

AWS or internationally recognized welding certification is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and tools.

• Deliver practical and theoretical training in:Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG)Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG)Oxy-fuel welding and cutting techniquesPrepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments in line with BTEB curriculum.
• Ensure that all training meets the National Technical and Vocational Qualification Framework (NTVQF).
• Conduct regular assessments of students’ progress and provide feedback for improvement.
• Maintain safety protocols in the workshop and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.
• Support students in developing portfolios and preparing for job placement (locally and abroad, including Middle Eastern markets).
• Participate in instructor training programs and professional development activities.
• Maintain training records, attendance, and student performance reports.
• Monitor, maintain, and calibrate welding equipment and tools regularly.
• Assist in organizing trade tests and certification exams in coordination with BTEB or NSDA.
• Collaborate with administrative and career guidance teams to support student job readiness.
