Job Responsibilities:
Curriculum & Materials:
- Develop and refine short course outlines, lesson plans, handouts, and practical exercises to effectively teach specified computer skills.
Instruction:
- Deliver clear, concise lectures and demonstrations on topics such as basic computer hardware, operating systems, software applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and internet navigation.
Student Assessment:
- Assign and grade homework, quizzes, and exams to monitor student progress and ensure they grasp the material within the short course duration.
Technical Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues with computer hardware and software to maintain a functional learning environment.
Classroom Management:
- Foster a positive, orderly classroom environment and manage student behavior to maximize learning and achieve course goals.
Feedback & Remediation:
- Provide timely feedback to students on their performance and offer individual or group support for those needing extra help.
