Experience:

• 6 to 7 years

• BSc in CSE/IT from reputed Public or Private University with good academic background

• CISA

• 6 to 7 years

• Experience in Oracle or SAP will be given preference

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• High level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

• Security Assessment: Evaluating the security measures in place to protect data and systems from unauthorized access, breaches, or break-in. This includes reviewing user access controls, authentication methods, and encryption practices.

• Data Integrity and Accuracy: Assessing the accuracy and reliability of data stored in Oracle databases. This includes checking for data exploitation, validating data input processes, and ensuring consistency across databases.

• Review & Reports: Period Closing & Reopening Management, BOM updated review, backdated data entry review, data edit-cancel and role change Management Review.

• Change Management: Reviewing how changes to the system (such as software updates, configuration changes, or new implementations) are managed. This includes examining change request processes and ensuring that changes are documented and tested

• Security Reporting: Reviews and reports security information, including user access and role design. Role Hierarchy Optimization Report, User Access Audit Report.

• Backup and Recovery: Evaluating the backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure that data can be restored in case of a failure or data loss. This involves checking backup schedules, recovery procedures, and testing the effectiveness of these plans.

• Performance Evaluation: Analyzing the performance of Oracle databases and applications to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement. This includes monitoring system usage and resource allocation.

• Documentation Review: Ensuring that appropriate documentation exists for systems, processes, and procedures. This includes reviewing system architecture diagrams, user manuals, and operational procedures.

• Audit Trails: Checking for proper logging and monitoring of system activities to facilitate accountability and traceability. This includes ensuring logs are maintained, reviewed, and analyzed regularly.

• User Access and Privileges: Evaluating user access rights and roles to ensure that users have the necessary permissions to perform their jobs without excessive privileges that may pose security risks.

• Any other tasks assigned by the HOD as well as the BoD.
