Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the House Keeping team to ensure there is a positive, motivational, supportive working environment.
∎ Ensure advanced planning of all House Keeping operations including periodic tasks with clear schedules and sign off of all duties and tasks complete.
∎ A focus on training and development of the team to establish good working practices with a vision and focus on both House Keeping operation.
∎ Provide professional support to the business in service-related matters.
∎ Ensure high standards are always achieved, being flexible to meet the changing operational needs on a continual basis and to suggest new initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and best practice are continually delivered.
∎ Handle complaints and feedback from various department of the Hospital.
∎ Identify training needs for all House Keeping staff.
∎ Monitor House Keeping material stock level and re-order materials when needed.
∎ Plan out work schedule for Ward boy & cleaners.
∎ Solve operational problems and make decisions.
∎ Submit daily cleanliness report to the competitive authority.
∎ Supervise team of Ward boy & cleaners in their assigned task.
∎ Train Ward boy, cleaners and supervisor on service standards.
∎ Any others task assigned by the management from time to time.
