Baptist Mission Girls High School, Barisal is looking for a dynamic Christian female/male candidate for the position of Headmistress/Headmaster.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Headmistress/Headmaster is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the school. She/He will be guided by the following principles:
∎ Responsible for upholding the ethos and values of the school, ensuring students enjoy their learning in a safe environment.
∎ In co-operation with the School Management Committee (SMC) to formulate, develop and review the overall aims and values of the school.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the quality of learning and teaching in the school, and to put in place appropriate initiatives developments.
∎ Responsible for overall management of the school including development of curriculum, preparation and distribution at syllabus, work distribution among the teaching staffs etc.
∎ Act as a role model for students, appreciating their efforts and supporting their extracurricular activities.
∎ Make the time schedule and monitor staff attendance.
∎ To inspire, motivate, counsel and maintain necessary discipline among the students, teachers and other staff members as appropriate.
∎ Ensure recruiting efficient and child friendly teaching staff.
∎ Maintain a good working relationship with the SMC for smooth running and development of the school.
∎ Build relationship with parents and to ensure excellent communication between the school and the parent body, both individually and collectively.
∎ Develop and implement plan to support the financially poor and educationally weak students.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Age limit: 30 to 50 years (Age may be relaxed for a candidate with excellent background match with the job requirements.)
∎ At least 10 years' teaching experience in a secondary school.
∎ Knowledge on Child Psychology.
∎ Fair experience in computer software, especially MS Word and Internet. Ability to communicate orally and written in English and Bangla

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Salary is negotiable based on education background and experience.This will be regular position and be eligible to receive all the benefits and allowances as per the policy of school.Residence will be provided in campus.
