Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee entire Retail portfolio and P&L across commercial brands for Bangladesh market.
∎ Partner and challenge venture category teams to deliver sustainable improvements to overall margin structure.
∎ Build robust retail organization in Daraz Bangladesh to improve and setup scalable processes. Understand dynamics of business in each market to develop and execute coherent retail strategy for the group.
∎ Ensure maximum stock availability by optimizing inventory turn and working capital.
∎ Collaborate closely with cross functional teams (e.g., product development, pricing, operations) to drive retail priorities.
∎ Lead and manage performance, engagement, and development of Retail Department including Sourcing, Pricing, and Business Analytics.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year of working experience in relevant filed. E-commerce experience is preferred.
∎ Obtaining solid experience in retail management, supply chain and commercial experience
∎ Excellent Interpersonal and Communications skills.
∎ Demonstrated senior presence and strong leadership.
∎ Strong project management skills including ability to collaborate with multi-functional stakeholders.
∎ Entrepreneurial attitude to quickly dive deep into content to determine root causes of problems and implement scalable solutions.
∎ Strong analytical acumen and comfort with generating and evaluating metrics, forecasts, and analyses.
∎ Strong adaptation to change management and quick growth of eCommerce industry.
