Group of Companies, Banks, Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry)
Job Context:
∎ In driving the company`s financial planning, Budgeting, Cashflows and investment strategies, an incumbent is required who will be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader with a goal to protect the company’s revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Forecast periodic fund requirements, short and long-term, for Operating Units and Entity as a whole, covering Capex also.
∎ Maintain liaison with different Functional Heads, like-logistic, operations, etc., to get their requirements to consider in overall fund requirement on periodic basis.
∎ Track effect of non-funded facilities on forecasting.
∎ Source fund, foreign and/or local, at competitive rate.
∎ Keep eye on global financial market’s movement to take precautionary measures on effect of currency fluctuations and advise to the Management for proper action.
∎ Ensure use of available financial market’s derivatives to maintain satisfactory cost of fund.
∎ Achieve a proper mix of equity and debt to minimize cost and maximize operational profit.
∎ Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions.
∎ Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organization.
∎ Manage and monitor KPI of his section and reports thereon.
∎ Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the organization.
∎ Vet and follow-up of lenders conditions and covenants.
∎ Search alternative means of finance.
∎ Keep updated information on BRPD and relevant Circulars and Polices of Bangladesh Bank.
∎ Maintain good relationship with lenders.
∎ Assists Internal Audit and Control Department by providing necessary Information and Feedback.
∎ Ensure coordination meeting with concern departments and Management with regular interval, with exceptions, to inform about market update and entity’s position.
∎ Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, especially on Loan position.
∎ Lead Treasury and Finance Team.
