∎ The Company planned to establish a Glassware Factory in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Shilpa Nagar, Mirsarai-Feni. The Company got an allotment of 30 acres of Land from The Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA) in this regard. Construction works will be started very soon.
∎ Kiam is going to hire some potential civil engineers to supervise and monitor its construction works at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Shilpa Nagar, Mirsarai-Feni.
∎ The position shall have responsibilities to ensure the schedule of construction works for the project according to the plan.
∎ Job Location: Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Shilpa Nagar (BSMSN), Mirsarai-Feni.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate with the related departments and top management as well.
∎ Supervise and monitor project construction works with third-party vendors.
∎ Supervise and monitor subordinate team members of the construction team for the project.
∎ Prepare and verified BOQ for construction works.
∎ Prepare and execute construction works schedule.
∎ Manage resources such as construction materials, construction workers, and equipment.
∎ Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish construction goals.
∎ Coordinate with the procurement team for on-time delivery of construction materials.
∎ Investigate problems, analyze root causes, and derive resolutions.
∎ Oversee the performance of the general contractor, site manager, and other members of the construction team.
∎ Coordinate for obtaining necessary approval from the concerned authorities according to the rules and laws of the land.
∎ Managing both internal and external risks within the project's lifetime, such as poor planning designs, and government policies,
∎ Which directly or indirectly affects the project.
∎ Ensure proper documentation as per the requirement of various authorities.
∎ Any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 15 years on industrial project construction works.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Project construction management, understanding on sub structure and supper structure drawing, electing construction vendors, construction materials sourcing, supervising third party construction contractor, Preparing BOQ, Scrutiny construction bills, bidding, etc.
∎ Good leadership skill, smartness, challenges encountering attitude and ability to manage any embarrassing situation.
∎ Knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations.
∎ Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
∎ Willingness to travel anywhere in Bangladesh.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and tight deadline.
