Job Context:
∎ REPORTS TO: CEO
∎ FUNCTION: Accounts & Finance.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for taking on a leadership role in Financial Management.
∎ Responsible for corresponding with different financial institute.
∎ Financial planning for the Company
∎ Providing strategic financial input to top management
∎ Execute the financial strategy of the company
∎ Developing and implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of the Company
∎ Manage financial controls and accounting procedures
∎ Overseeing the overall accounting process
∎ Financial reporting
∎ Record-keeping as required under the Law
∎ Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs
∎ Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner
∎ Managing of financial risks for the Company
∎ Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained
∎ Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments
∎ Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required
∎ Advise sales and service personnel in financial matter to minimize risks for the Company
∎ Advise project team in project finance, to ensure positive cash flow during project execution
∎ Support Sales and Project Teams in costing matters before the Sales and post-calculations during and after completion of the order process
∎ Lead and support the annual budgeting process and monitor budget keeping
∎ Review of sales contracts from the financial point of view
∎ Monitor invoicing and payments by customers
∎ Monitor payments of the Company to principals and suppliers
∎ Maintain legal documents like distribution/dealer agreements, etc.
∎ Any other tasks as assigned by the management, from time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Skill: Knowledge of Accounts, Finance, Audit, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax/Banking), legal requirements pertaining to projects. Understanding business strategy, financial modelling & know how. Computerized Financial System (ERP).
∎ Experiences: 8 to 10 years' experience in finance and accounting preferably from large manufacturing firm (FMCG).
∎ Key Success Factors:
∎ Extreme maturity, corporate savvy & an ability to operate at the highest levels.
∎ Disciplined & professionalism in execution of works.
∎ High level of integrity & business ethics.
∎ Working Relationships:
∎ Internal: Managing Director, Director, Store, Planning, Procurement, Legal, HR and Admin, Marketing and sales.
∎ External: Bank & Financial Institutions, Government regulatory agency, TAX & Customs rules, External and internal auditors.
∎ Additional Comments: Target oriented, excellent knowledge in Accounts & Finance
