Responsibilities & Context: Job Summary: Ollyo is seeking an experienced Head Chef to run our corporate kitchen. The ideal candidate will be passionate for creating innovative dishes and managing kitchen operations. We are looking for someone with exceptional culinary experience using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Responsibilities include menu development, staff training, and ensuring food quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare lunch and snacks for 100+ employees.
- Menu Development: Create and update menus that align with daily lunch and snacks, dietary needs, and seasonal availability.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring a cohesive and efficient team.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and oversee daily food preparation and cooking, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to ensure profitability.
- Food Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Catering Coordination: Collaborate with event planners to design and execute catering menus for corporate events.
- Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the kitchen budget, analyzing costs, and optimizing expenses.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.
- Recipe Development: Innovate and test new recipes, ensuring they meet corporate standards and guest preferences.
- Feedback Management: Gather and respond to feedback from employees and event attendees to continually improve food offerings.
- Crisis Management: Address any kitchen issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to service.
