Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a talented Graphics Designer / Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches director`s vision and make it suitable for broadcasting.
∎ Ultimately, as a Graphics Designer and Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story as well as create impactful designs for various media applications.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Making design briefs and determine requirements
∎ Conceptualizing and developing design concepts, graphics and layouts based on requirements
∎ Designing and producing collateral in accordance with guidelines
∎ Develop illustrations, logos and other designs for print and digital collateral
∎ Presenting ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholders and incorporating their feedback into the final design
∎ Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
∎ Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
∎ Operate computer with editing systems and equipment used for video media and effects
∎ Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation
∎ Create an initial proposed storyboard draft of the video to present to clients
∎ Improve video and sound quality using various video editing software
∎ Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
∎ Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to required specifications
∎ Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.
∎ Updating our website and social media pages with new content
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have prior experience as a Graphic Designer as well as a strong portfolio of related projects
∎ Should possess a good knowledge of designing tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc.
∎ Should pay strong attention to work in detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics.
∎ Should have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate ideas, designs, and suggestions
∎ Should be a strong team player who can collaborate effectively
∎ 3-5 years of proven experience in graphic design and video editing.
∎ Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs
∎ Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
∎ Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project
∎ Proficient on editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
Salary: Negotiable
