Job Context:
∎ A Leading Garment & Textiles Manufacturing Group of Companies in Bangladesh is looking for a proven Internal Audit professional.
∎ The Incumbent will develop and implement internal audit policies, procedures and strategies to ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations and accounting standards.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement annual audit plans that align with the company's overall strategic goals and objectives.
∎ Supervise the internal audit team to ensure that audit projects are conducted efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with established standards.
∎ Manage the risk assessment process to identify and evaluate potential areas of risk and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
∎ Monitor and report on the progress of audit projects to senior management and the Audit Committee.
∎ Ensure that audit findings are properly documented, communicated, and addressed in a timely manner.
∎ Work closely with other departments to provide advice and guidance on internal controls, compliance, and risk management.
∎ Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
∎ Provide training and guidance to internal auditors and other staff on audit methodologies, tools, and techniques.
∎ Keep up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards related to internal audit.
∎ Participate in the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to internal audit.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 55 years
∎ Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
∎ Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
∎ Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
∎ Experience in the RMG industry is preferred
