- 10–15 years of progressive finance and accounts experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of hospitality finance, international accounting standards, and tax regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial software, and advanced Excel.
Responsibilities & Context:
The General Manager – Accounts & Finance will lead the finance and accounts division of the hotel, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and strategic support to drive profitability.
- Oversee all financial and accounting operations of the hotel.
- Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with the hotel’s business objectives.
- Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance to ensure stability and growth.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, tax laws, and audit requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Supervise accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and revenue recognition processes.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, investors, and other external stakeholders.
- Drive automation, ERP implementation, and continuous improvements in financial systems.
