• Age At most 50 years

Must-Haves:

• Strong understanding of IB Diploma Programme – French Ab Initio

• Minimum B2 level (C1 preferred) proficiency in French (CEFR)

• High proficiency in English (spoken and written)

• Experience or ability to teach beginner-level learners (little or no prior knowledge of French)

• Familiarity with IB assessment methods (Internal & External)

• Ability to deliver student-centered, inquiry-based lessons

• Skilled in integrating digital tools into teaching

• Willingness to relocate to Narsingdi and commit for at least two years

Nice-to-Haves:

• IB training/certification

• Experience teaching Ab Initio or beginner-level language courses

• Experience preparing students for IB DP assessments

• Strong differentiation skills for mixed-ability classrooms

• Proficiency in educational platforms (MS Office, Google Workspace, etc.)

• Interest in extracurricular and cultural/language activities

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

• Plan and deliver engaging French Ab Initio lessons (IB DP)

• Teach students with little or no prior knowledge of French

• Develop students’ basic communication skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking)

• Prepare students for IB assessments (Writing, Listening, Reading & Individual Oral)

• Design lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments aligned with IB guidelines

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Use real-life contexts and authentic materials to enhance learning

• Promote international-mindedness

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership

• Engage in continuous professional development (CPD)

• Contribute to school events, language activities, and enrichment programs
