Responsible for maintaining workplace safety during hot work, confined-space entry, and other high-risk activities. Monitor work areas continuously for fire hazards, sparks, smoke, gas leaks, and unsafe conditions. Ensure fire extinguishers and other emergency equipment are readily available and immediately report or respond to emergencies.

As a Hole Watch, monitor personnel entering and working around confined spaces, manholes, tanks, pits, and other openings. Maintain communication with workers, control unauthorized entry, monitor access and egress, and raise the alarm in case of an emergency.

• Conduct fire and safety checks before, during, and after hot-work activities.

• Monitor welding, cutting, grinding, and other spark-producing operations.

• Keep fire extinguishers and firefighting equipment available at the worksite.

• Watch for sparks, flames, smoke, combustible materials, and other fire hazards.

• Maintain continuous communication with workers inside confined spaces.

• Monitor confined-space entry and exit and maintain an accurate personnel count.

• Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, and emergencies to the supervisor or HSE team.

• Follow PTW (Permit to Work), JSA, toolbox-talk, and site safety procedures.

• Assist in emergency response, evacuation, and rescue procedures as instructed.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with company and HSE requirements.
