Job Context:
∎ Ensures quality financial data management, supports financial reporting, supports administrative processes including human resources management.

MdM currently works in more than 35 countries across all continents where it focuses on 5 priority areas: emergency and crisis, sexual and reproductive health, harm reduction, migrants and displaced populations (health rights), health and environment.
∎ In Bangladesh, MdM has been responding in the Rohingya crises and in the host community of Cox`s Bazar in 2019. The role of Finance and Administrative Officer will sit within the Medecine du Monde structure, working across the multiple MdM chapters present in Bangladesh in order to facilitate financial and administrative support across different chapters.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the supervision of the responsible General Coordinator, the Financial and
∎ Administrative Officer (f/m) will cover the following responsibilities:
∎ Support financial, accounting and budget management processes
∎ Perform regular monitoring, control and consolidation of accounting of the office
∎ Support budget follow-up of mdm projects
∎ Support appropriate implementation of financial procedures
∎ Lead the preparatory process and data collection for audits
∎ Ensure the tasks above in coordination with implementing partners
∎ Facilitate transfers between headquarters and local programmes
∎ Support the coordination with the responsible counterpart at the headquarters
∎ Support human resource management:-
∎ Cover the assigned administrative tasks related to human resources management in mdm programme
∎ Ensure the administrative part of national staff recruitment procedures
∎ Follow up on timely contracting and other HR procedures with implementing partners
∎ Administrative support:-
∎ Follow up on and communicate changes in applicable tax and legal laws to the supervisor
∎ Support purchase processes in coordination with the supervisor and/or office logistics
∎ Support the general coordinator in diverse administrative procedures and registrations
∎ Reporting:-
∎ Participate in the drafting of the financial parts of the funding requests and donor reports
∎ Ensure quality financial reporting including consolidation of financial data

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least three (3) year working experience in a similar role with INGOs/NNGOs and/or private corporations
∎ Proven track record in financial reporting for humanitarian donors
∎ In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
∎ Financial reporting for humanitarian donors
∎ Administrative management including procurement and inventory control
∎ Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word
∎ Experience with SAGA software is an advantage
∎ Outstanding analytical and time management skills.
∎ Strong attention to detail.
∎ Languages - English - fluent, Bangla - fluent, Chittagonian - fluent,
