∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting Management, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting & Management
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: CA professional level partly qualified ACCA would get preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Hotel
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develops financial and business strategies for the hotel and monitors internal control compliance practices of the hotel.
∎ Develops and implement financial and procurement strategies which are aligned with the hotel's objectives and internal control practices.
∎ Develops annual business plan for the hotel in conjunction with the hotel manager and analyses performance against the budget.
∎ Coordinates and implements accounting work and projects as assigned.
∎ Leads the finance & accounts department of the hotel and is responsible for finance and accounts of the hotel.
∎ Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc. ensuring delivery deadlines.
∎ Reviews internal and external financial and management reporting.
∎ Develops means to improve profit, including estimating cost and benefit, exploring new business opportunities, etc.
∎ Understands and meets the needs of key stakeholders (owners, corporate, guests, etc.).
∎ Understands the owners' perspective and ROI expectations.
∎ Attends owner's meetings in order to provide context and explanation for financial results.
∎ Attends meetings and communicates with the owners, understanding the priorities and strategic focus.
∎ Oversees internal, external and regulatory audit processes; reviews audit issues and ensures implementation of audit findings
∎ Ensures that the P&L is accurate (e.g., costs are properly matched to revenue, and costs are recorded in the proper accounts)
∎ Ensures profits and losses are documented accurately.
∎ Monitors all taxes that apply, ensuring that taxes are collected and/or accrued.
∎ Ensures renewal of hotel operational licenses and agreements in a timely manner
∎ Manages working capital for the hotel
∎ Maintains a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets
∎ Manages communication with owning company in an effective manner.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Working experience in International Five Star Hotel will get a preference
∎ 5 years experience in finance and accounting or a related professional area.
∎ Working experience in International Five Star Hotel will get a preference
Salary: Negotiable
