Educational Requirements:
∎ Post graduate (MSc/MSS) in any subject of Social Science, environmental science, economics from a well reputed university

Job Context:
∎ Program on `Dignifying Lives: Inclusive approach for socioeconomic empowerment of informal waste and sanitation workers` is for an ongoing project, funded by European Union, supported by Practical Action Bangladesh, organized by Karmojibi Nari, from 01 January 2018 to December 2020.
∎ Job location: Bagerhat Municipality.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Field Manager (Senior Field Facilitator) will be responsible to co-ordinate the overall activities of the program under active guidance of the Project Coordinator at field level.
∎ She will be based in field Bagerhat Municipality.
∎ She will coordinate and monitor the project activities in the selected field relating the program
∎ She will support, mentor and follow up the Junior field facilitators to accomplish the field activities
∎ She will responsible for coordinating councilors, municipal staff and other stakeholders at the Bagerhat area.
∎ She will assist and maintain regular coordination with Practical Action staff for planning, progressing and field facilitation
∎ She will also responsible to attend different local level meeting, workshop, training
∎ She will support the project coordinator to keep contact with the campaigning and advocacy activities.
∎ She will keep the project Coordinator updated about the activities and situation of the field regularly to take necessary decisions by sharing monthly/quarterly plan vs. progress report
∎ She will be responsible for any other duties of the project assigned by line management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age Limit: 28- 40 (flexible for experienced personnel)
∎ Minimum 4 year(s) in the field of human rights/development/waste management
∎ Comprehensive understanding and good command in MS Office, internet and other IT applications
∎ Understanding on labor rights, gender and human rights and working experience in the field of labor rights will be added advantage
∎ Working experience with the municipal waste and sanitation related service providers, slum dwellers will also added value
∎ Good interaction capacity will be preferred
∎ Good command in Bangla and English
Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Two festival bonus equivalents to 50% gross salary for each festival after confirmation.

As an activist?s organization, KN also built up awareness of the cell members to increase the capacity and skills to deal with violence against women in family, community and working places since its inception.
