Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in animal nutrition/science from recognized university in analytical chemistry or related field

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in developing a work plan for the identification and collection of unconventional feed resources throughout the country; lists of anti-nutritional factors presence of feeds and fodder resources;
∎ Collect feed and fodder samples from the field and assist with their shipment and analysis at relevant Animal Nutrition Laboratory;
∎ In close collaboration with the National Consultant and the Animal Nutrition Laboratory, the Feed Analyst will assist in the preparation of standard operating procedures (SOP) for the determination of nutrient composition and anti-nutritional factors in feed;
∎ Assist in the development of training material on advanced feed formulation techniques, animal nutrition, feed quality control, anti-nutritional factors and on conventional and unconventional feed resources;
∎ Perform other related duties as required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least four years of relevant analytical laboratory experience including feed analytical techniques.
∎ He/she will have basic computer skill particularly in relation to feed and feeding formulation.
