Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop creative concepts and design ideas for clothing and accessories.
∎ Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and create innovative designs.
∎ Create sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards to visualize design concepts.
∎ Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments for each design.
∎ Create patterns and prototypes to bring designs to life.
∎ Oversee the fitting and adjustment process to ensure proper garment construction.
∎ Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and forecast future styles.
∎ Analyze and interpret fashion forecasts, color palettes, and fabric trends
∎ He/she must be stayed updated on current fashion trends, industry developments, and consumer preferences.
∎ Conduct quality control checks on prototypes and final products to ensure adherence to design specifications and standards.
∎ Collaborate with the merchandising & production team to address any issues during designing or challenges that arise during the manufacturing process.
∎ Work closely with the team that includes merchandisers & production and maintain effective communication with management members to ensure cohesive brand representation.
∎ Provide clear instructions and guidance to sample makers and manufacturers during the production process.
∎ Managing time effectively to meet project deadlines and working within allocated budgets. This will ensure good organizational and project management skills to ensure timely completion of design tasks.
∎ Monitoring production process to ensure that the final products meet your design specifications. This involves collaborating with production teams, addressing any issues that arise during production, and maintaining quality control standards.
∎ Contributing to the branding and marketing efforts of your fashion label or brand. This may involve creating marketing materials, participating in photo shoots, engaging with social media platforms, and collaborating with marketing teams to promote your designs and increase brand visibility.
∎ Creating original designs for clothing, accessories, or footwear based on your artistic vision and inspiration. This involves sketching, draping, or using computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop design concepts.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Strong knowledge of fashion trends, textiles, fabrics, and garment construction techniques.
∎ Capacity to define priorities, adaptation, ability to work in team a multicultural environment.
∎ Sense of responsibility and confidentiality
∎ Must be a team player and flexible to work with different tasks under stress
