Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA/ Masters in any subject from reputed university.
∎ Supply Chain specialization would be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Required Good communication skill in English & Bangla and close relation with all Shipping line (MLO) Container Provided / Bulk Carrier and Freight Forwarding Companies.
∎ Understand Shipping line (MLO) and Freight Forwarding trade.
∎ Knowledge about Vessel Handling - Voyage Chartering / Time-Chartering.
∎ Capability to negotiate about the Laycan between charter party and suppliers based of Planning Departments cargo requirements.
∎ Knowledge about Charter Party Agreement.
∎ Knowledge about Shipping Documents as well as Lay time agreement.
∎ Capability to follow-up the Date of commencement and end of charter of Chartered Ship.
∎ Ability to find the cost effective charter ships, via reliable genuine broker, and makes a FIRST OFFER.
∎ Prepare strategic yearly plan for Sourcing the Ceramics Raw Materials Worldwide
∎ Understand the Shipping Trade and able to work with overseas suppliers.
∎ Develop operational plan and action plan to achieve long term business objective.
∎ Ensure reliable & cost-effective shipping trade.
∎ Ensure proper use of shipping expertise to optimize cost for the market competitiveness.
∎ Capability to operate Selective automation Shipping Line software and software platforms that best meet company needs.
∎ Preparing shipment statement & report to management.
∎ any other tasks assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proficient in computer operation specially MS Power Point, MS Excel and MS Word;
∎ Pro-active, independent and result oriented.
∎ Ability to deliver demanding business objectives and goals.
∎ Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
∎ Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
∎ Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and all other levels in the organization.
∎ Experience in export oriented company.
