Educational Requirements:
∎ An ideal candidate should have a Bachelor and / or Master's degree from any recognized university preferably in Commerce / Business Studies
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for purchase and delivery (in-house) of Manufacturing Raw Materials, Spare Parts and Consumables- both Local and Overseas
∎ Raise PPO and follow-up for approval on time
∎ Place PO to supplier with respective vendor and regular order follow-up
∎ Confirm shipment mode & delivery date and follow up with commercial team
∎ Payment follow up with finance department and share payment update with supplier
∎ Arrange audit related information & documents from supplier
∎ Negotiate with supplier for best quality, price reduction and optimum credit term
∎ Help in preventing and solving "Stock-out" situation
∎ Help in supplier selection / enlistment, supplier evaluation / assessment and gathering market intelligence
∎ Help in sourcing alternative materials and substitute suppliers
∎ Contribute in company's cost savings by ensuring efficient procurement
∎ Maintaining air shipment records in case of overseas procurement
Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants should have minimum 3 - 5 (Three to Five) years of relevant working experience in Procurement function in similar industry
∎ Should be a pleasant personality, smart and well groomed
∎ Should work well independently as well as in a big team
∎ Should be self motivated, organized and disciplined
∎ Should have patience and good negotiation capability
∎ Should have keen sense of punctuality along with ethical and professional responsibility
∎ Should be willing to work additional hours if it is required to finish the assigned responsibility
∎ Should have knowledge in MS Office, ERP & other computer applications
∎ Should have good analytical ability, good communication skill in English - both written & verbal
