  • Skilled in developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking abilities

  • Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning

  • Willingness to relocate to Narsingdi and commit for at least two years

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience preparing students for Cambridge Checkpoint assessments

  • Familiarity with differentiated instruction and innovative assessment practices

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and other educational technology platforms

  • Interest in literary activities, debates, public speaking, and extracurricular programmes



Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum

  • Develop students' proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and language analysis

  • Foster creativity, critical thinking, and effective communication skills

  • Prepare students for Cambridge Checkpoint and other internal assessments

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback

  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs

  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success

  • Participate actively in professional development, curriculum planning, and school events

  • Contribute to co-curricular and extracurricular activities related to language and literature
