Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Electrolysis Process Management:
∎ Oversee the electroplating process for SS sheets, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Monitor voltage, chemical tank temperature, and chemical concentration to maintain optimal conditions.
∎ Quality Assurance:
∎ Inspect plated SS sheets for defects and adjust the process to reduce errors
∎ Chemical Inventory Management:
∎ Ensure all required chemicals (acid, nickel, chrome) are stocked adequately. Maintain proper records of daily chemical usage and remaining inventory.
∎ Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
∎ Ensure electroplating equipment operates efficiently and is maintained regularly. Troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime
∎ Problem Solving and Testing:
∎ Conduct single-piece testing for tanks showing defects in quality. Investigate and resolve any electroplating defects exceeding the allowable threshold.
∎ Qualifications and Skills:
∎ Proven experience (3+ years) in electroplating, especially with nickel and chrome plating.
∎ Strong understanding of stainless steel sheet handling and surface preparation.
∎ Knowledge of maintaining chemical concentrations and handling hazardous materials safely.
∎ Excellent troubleshooting and process optimization skills.
∎ Ability to maintain detailed records and manage inventory effectively.
