Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. He / She will be answerable to the Senior Dorm Master and report to him on daily basis.
∎ 2. He / she has to follow al the instructions given by the Senior Dorm Master.
∎ 3. He / she will not take any decision without consulting the Senior Dorm Master.
∎ 4. He / she will wake up children and accompany them for the morning walk.
∎ a. In case the appointed staff for the morning walks absent he / she will be in charge of the students and take the morning walk.
∎ b. He / She must also ensure that the students are sent for the evening
∎ study class and other activities as per schedule.
∎ 5. Supervise After school sports activities as per the roaster
∎ 6. He / she will be responsible for room inspection on a daily basis.
∎ 7. He / she will be responsible for students’ personal hygiene and their daily shower.
∎ 8. Maintain records of the students in their charge for the following:
∎ a. Clothes: Labels, Quantity, Repair and Laundry
∎ b. Other personal items like footwear, musical instruments, etc. All items should be tagged.
∎ c. Escort and monitor students in their charge at breakfast and dinner.
∎ d. Implement the activities organized by the Senior Dorm Master, Coordinators and
∎ accompany students on trips, if asked.
∎ e. Helping students for inter dorm competitions.
∎ f. Acquaint themselves about the student’s academic performance in consultation with the Senior Dorm Master.
∎ g. Receive new students at the reception and during screening and bring them to the Dorm.
∎ h. When students go on Emergency leave, they will accompany the students to the gate and handover him/her to the parents.
∎ i. He / she will be responsible for implementation of Supervised Self Study.
∎ j. He / she will be responsible for lights out and students’ timely sleep in his / her jurisdiction.
∎ k. He / she will abide by the changes in his / her job description (if any), depends upon the situation.
∎ 9. Ensure all electric device appropriate use- Chiller, Light, Fan etc. are off on time.
∎ 10. Ensure students organize their room in dorm.
∎ 11. Share the observation to support admin dept. through Service Request form for every facility and logistic work.
∎ 12. Ensure students’ submits laundry bag (as per the policy) and gets it delivered back appropriately every day.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Fluent in reading, writing and speaking in English is a must.
∎ Effective skills in dealing with the students and youngsters.
∎ Excellent inter-personal communication skills.
∎ Profound in Computer; MS Word, Excel, Power point, Browsing.
∎ Ability to be a holistic team leader.
